Hey Cloudkit~

"Hey Cloudkit!" Brightpaw bounded into the nursery, in search of a kit to help her with her apprentice duties with the elders that morning, "Want to help? Halftail's been complaining about ticks every day for the last moon, and-"

"Go away, Brightpaw." Cloudkit bit back, his blue eyes avoiding hers.

"What's wrong Cloudkit?" She questioned, N=not giving up on the kit so easily. Maybe he was still grumpy? It was barely dawn after all...

"Nothing..." The young tom kit grumbled, hit pelt disappearing into the darkness as he sank further away.

"Come on, you can tell me." Brightpaw coaxed, a purr forming in her throat.

After a pregnant pause, Cloudkit whispered, "Nobody likes me.."

"Is that what this is about?" The apprentice questioned, coming into the nursery a little further, "Do you mean what Mousefur said about you yesterday?"

The young kit nodded, his back to Brightpaw still.

"Silly kit." She mumbled, "I like you. Your uncle Fireheart likes you. Lots of us like you. And I know Brindleheart does."

Slowly, his bright eyes turned on her.

"You do?"

"Of course silly! Now come help me with Halftail before I rub mouse bile all over your pelt!" Brightpaw laughed, prancing out of the den.

"Ew, gross!" Cloudkit spat back, racing after the she-cat. He knew she didn't give empty threats.

Just cuteness overload c: And Brightheart is about... a month or so older than Cloudtail? So yeah.. I didn't want to make them the same age.. this is still a while before Brightpaws "accident".
